Senior Frontend Developer

About the Role

One of Australia’s household names — servicing millions of customers across 18+ sites nationally — is investing seriously in technology for the first time in its history. We’re hiring a Senior Frontend Developer to join the team building the customer-facing auction platform: multi-branded websites and the mobile experience customers use to bid, buy and sell every day.

About You

This is a genuinely hands-on, senior IC role — you’ll be writing React/Next.js code day to day, not managing a roadmap. You’ll join a small, tight-knit team already delivering strong results, in a business that’s profitable, family-owned, and finally backing engineering with real investment.

What you’ll do

- Build and ship features across the core auction platform (web + mobile)

- Work in React, moving toward Next.js

- Collaborate closely with a small, senior engineering team — no bureaucracy, no legacy baggage holding you back

What we’re looking for

- Strong hands-on experience with React (Next.js highly regarded)

- Comfortable owning features end-to-end, from architecture input through to shipping

- Genuinely excited to build something you’d be proud to point to
