We are working with a leading top-tier law firm seeking to make multiple hires within its Band 1 commercial litigation practice in Sydney.
The team is recognised for its work on complex, high-profile disputes and acts for major corporates, financial institutions and other significant clients across a broad range of contentious matters.
Lawyers within the practice are given exposure to sophisticated work, highly regarded partners and some of the most substantial disputes in the market.
The Opportunites
The team is looking to hire at both Associate and Senior Associate level.
These roles will involve a varied mix of commercial litigation, including:
• Complex commercial litigation
• Large-scale class actions
• Regulatory investigations and enforcement matters
• Corporate, contractual and competition-related disputes
• Multi-party and cross-border proceedings
• Strategic advice in relation to contentious and regulatory issues
Depending on seniority, lawyers will have the opportunity to take ownership of matters, manage junior team members, work directly with clients and play an active role in the development of the practice.
About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:
• At least 3 years’ PQE in commercial litigation
• Experience gained within a leading disputes practice
• Strong academic results
• Excellent drafting, research and analytical skills
• Experience working on complex and high-value matters
• Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail
• Confidence working with clients and senior stakeholders
