The People & Culture Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture function, providing coordination and administrative support across the full employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, this role plays a key part in delivering a positive employee experience — from onboarding, administration to engagement initiatives, and culture-building activities. The successful candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and discreet, with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in building great workplaces.

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a People & Culture, Human Resources, or administrative coordination role; experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Canadian employment standards and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High levelof discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with sound judgement.
  • Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Genuine interest in people, culture, and contributing to a positive employee experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the full onboarding process for new hires, including offer letter preparation, background checks, system provisioning, and first-day orientation.
  • Maintainingaccurateemployee records and HRIS data, ensuring data integrity across all People systems.
  • Assistingwith the administration of benefits, leaves of absence, and other employee programs.
  • Responding to employee enquiriesregardingpolicies, procedures, and programs, escalating whereappropriate.
  • Supporting recruitment activities including job postings, interview scheduling,asrequired.
  • Preparing People & Culture reports, metrics, and presentations asrequired.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of People & Culture processes, templates, and documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the People & Culture team and the broader business.
