About The Team

The team ensures our rail network operates smoothly across various systems and regions, helping to create a standardised operating environment. This helps increase efficiencies for rail operators, making our network more reliable and cost-effective.
About The Opportunity
This role is responsible for administering, maintaining and enhancing ARTC's Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and supporting applications. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to optimise asset management processes, maintain high-quality asset data and support continual system improvements that drive operational performance.
Responsibilities Include
- Administer and maintain ARTC's Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS), including Ellipse, Field Mobility and Ellipse Analytics.
- Configure system functionality, user roles and preventative maintenance regimes.
- Support system upgrades, testing, data migrations, scripting and ongoing system enhancements.
- Maintain data quality and integrity to support lifecycle asset management and risk-based decision making.
- Analyse business processes and implement workflow and reporting improvements.
- Develop and maintain business rules, procedures and user documentation.
- Produce SQL-based reporting and data analysis to support operational and business requirements.
- Conduct periodic system security audits and manage user access controls.
- Identify system risks and recommend practical solutions to improve performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with operational stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
What do we want from you?
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Asset Management or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Experience within the rail, transport or heavy asset industries (desirable).
- Experience administering Enterprise Asset Management systems such as Ellipse, SAP PM, IBM Maximo or similar.
- Experience managing enterprise data quality and system configuration.
- Strong SQL skills for data management, reporting and analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
