About the role
The Head of Brand and Acquisition leads the delivery of CBUS’ brand and acquisition strategy and plan, bringing together integrated marketing campaigns and content strategies across digital, social and traditional channels to strengthen the brand’s position in the market, build brand demand and affinity, with the objective of driving short-term and longer-term sustainable member growth outcomes.
As a member of the Brand, Marketing & Digital Experience Leadership team, this is a critical leadership role, responsible for shaping team performance and delivering high-impact brand and acquisition outcomes. Working closely with the Group Head of Brand, Marketing & Digital Experience, executive stakeholders, the Board and external media and creative agency partners, you will influence strategy, champion data-led decision making and ensure campaigns deliver measurable impact, while strengthening CBUS’ brand presence and member advocacy.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and execute the CBUS brand and acquisition marketing strategy to drive awareness, consideration, engagement and member growth across paid and organic channels.
- Lead, inspire and develop a high performing team while managing budgets and campaign performance, providing actionable insights and reporting to support areas of focus.
- Deliver integrated data-led campaigns across ATL, digital and social channels, optimising performance, informed by leveraging marketing mix modelling and brand tracking.
- Create strong relationships with external agency partners (Media and Creative) to influence and deliver strategic outcomes aligned to business objectives.
- Oversee brand governance and identity to ensure consistency of application across all internal and external touchpoints.
- Oversee the management of the Social Media channels for CBUS including the development and execution of an engaging content strategy and timely moderation of member interactions.
What will you bring?
- Extensive experience leading brand and acquisition marketing functions within complex, regulated environments, preferably in Financial Services industry.
- Strong background in brand strategy and architecture, growth marketing, performance (digital) marketing and customer acquisition.
- Proven track record delivering integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable growth across digital, social and traditional (ATL) channels
- Proven track record in building high performing teams and adapting to the changing landscape of marketing with innovation and impact.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communications skills with the ability to present and influence at executive level and cross-functionally.
- Strong storytelling ability backed by data and insight.
- Deep understanding of consumer behaviour, brand positioning and digital marketing trends with a curious mindset to continuously learn.
