Finance Manger

Finance Manager | Mascot | 4 Days in Office | $135,000-$150,000 + Super

We are partnering with a highly successful ASX-listed organisation to recruit a Finance Manager into their high-performing finance team based in Mascot.

This newly created position offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with exciting expansion plans over the coming years. You'll take ownership of financial reporting, leading a small finance team, and providing commercial insights that influence business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end, half-year and year-end reporting processes,
• Prepare technical accounting papers and liaise with external auditors throughout the audit process
• Manage weekly financial reporting, reconciliations, margin analysis and cash flow forecasting
• Manage banking reporting, insurance administration and support finance transformation and business improvement initiatives
• Lead, mentor and develop a small finance team, including the Accounts Payable function
• Partner with operational and executive stakeholders to provide commercial insights and support strategic decision-making
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, controls and finance processes

About You

• CA or CPA qualified with Big 4 audit training and subsequent commercial experience
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Reporting or Senior Financial Accountant position within a large or ASX-listed business
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience preparing statutory financial statements and external reporting
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor finance professionals
• Commercially minded with the confidence to partner directly with senior executives and challenge where appropriate
• Hands-on approach with the ability to move between detailed financial reporting and team leadership
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large ERP and reporting systems
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
