Job Title – Instructional Designer

Job Location – Sydney

Employment Type – Contract/FTC

Key Responsibilities

Learning Design & Development

  • Conduct needs analyses to identify learning gaps, target audiences, and business requirements.
  • Design and develop high-quality instructional materials (e-learning modules, facilitator guides, learner resources, assessments, job aids).
  • Apply adult learning theory, instructional design models, and inclusive design principles.
  • Create blended and digital learning solutions that are engaging, scalable, and measurable.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), leaders, and business partners to capture knowledge and translate it into effective learning.
  • Provide advice and recommendations on learning strategies, approaches, and delivery methods.
  • Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to ensure alignment with learner and business needs.

Learning Technology & Innovation

  • Develop e-learning using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate).
  • Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS) for delivery and tracking.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Apply evaluation frameworks to measure learning effectiveness and impact.
  • Gather feedback and insights to refine and improve learning solutions.
  • Maintain and update learning materials to ensure relevance, accuracy, and alignment with organisational standards.
