Property Manager

Full-time | Cairns

REMAX Powerhouse is a locally owned and operated agency servicing greater Cairns and Far North Queensland. Our property management portfolio is growing significantly, and we're looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our close-knit team.

About the role

You'll manage your own portfolio of residential properties end-to-end, supported by a director who's hands-on in the business and a team that backs each other. This is a genuine career opportunity — there's real scope for growth, increased responsibility, and progression for the right person.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing a residential portfolio including leasing, routine inspections, entry and exit reports
• Coordinating repairs and maintenance with trusted local contractors
• Conducting rent reviews, lease renewals, and arrears management
• Building strong relationships with owners and tenants
• Preparing for and attending QCAT hearings where required
• Ensuring compliance with the RTRA Act and all relevant legislation

About you

• Current QLD Real Estate Registration Certificate or Full Licence (essential)
• Property management experience with sound knowledge of the RTRA Act
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Experience with Reapit (or similar trust accounting software) highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills and a calm, solutions-focused approach
• Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities
