About the Role

Securecorp is seeking a Casual Security Officers/ Control Room Operators to join our team for education sites located in Hawthorn, Croydon, and Wantirna.

This is a Security Officer/ Control Room Operator role with a strong focus on customer service, site patrols, access control, and emergency response. A Control Room endorsement is essential and Working With Children's check.

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional security and customer service.
• Conduct foot patrols and monitor assigned premises.
• Control room functions
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarm activations.
• Assess and report potential security risks.
• Manage access control and visitor management processes.
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records and logs.
• Support site operations across multiple campuses as required.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current Security Licence (Control Room endorsement essential).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Current working with children check clearance
• Previous experience within the security industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional presentation.
• Availability to work casual shifts across Hawthorn, Croydon, and Wantirna.
