The Role
Our Lenah Valley site in Hobart manufactures a range of more than 50 milk, milk-based and cream products, with all products made from fresh milk sourced direct from Tasmanian dairy farms. The site currently produces around 33 million litres of product every year, operating 6 days a week and employing around 50 people.

This is more than a forklift driving role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our products, materials and inventory are managed safely and efficiently while helping maintain the positive culture and high standards that keep our site running successfully.
We're looking for someone who brings more than forklift experience, someone who takes ownership, contributes positively to the team, looks for ways to improve how we work and consistently goes the extra mile to support the site's success.
Work 12-hour day shifts on a rotating roster of 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, followed by 7 days off, giving you every second week off (you must like starting early!)
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading refrigerated trailers
- Warehousing, coolroom, goods receival, inventory control and stocktaking activities as well as cleaning and waste management.
- Collecting stock from production lines and storing products accurately and safely
- Liaising with truck/delivery drivers, LRT drivers and site teams to coordinate work and resolve day-to-day operational issues
- Making safety a priority, identifying and reporting hazards, and championing a positive safety culture with the Team
- Maintaining stock rotation, 5S standards and organised work areas
About you
- FMCG manufacturing and/or warehousing logistics experience
- Current LF Forklift Licence and demonstrated experience operating safety
- Proactive problem solver who looks for opportunities to improve the way we work
- Positive attitude with the ability to build strong working relationships and contribute to a positive Team culture Comfortable working independently while contributing to Team success
- Confident using technology for inventory management, safety, quality and reporting systems, including SAP or similar inventory management systems
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to Team success
