As our Team Leader – Application & Enrolments, you'll lead a dedicated team responsible for guiding students through one of the most important steps in their education journey. This is an opportunity to combine your leadership, operational management and customer service expertise to drive exceptional outcomes for both students and the organisation.
About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our Applications and Enrolments team, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, accurately and with a genuine focus on student experience.
You'll coach and develop your team, oversee application and enrolment workflows, monitor performance, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure a seamless student journey.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance operational oversight with people leadership, process improvement and service excellence.
Salary range: $93,103 - $102,572 per annum plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you'll be doing
As our Team Leader – Applicant & Enrolments, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing Applications and Enrolments team.
- Driving exceptional customer service and a student-first culture.
- Managing daily workflows, priorities and team performance to meet service standards.
- Overseeing application and enrolment processes to ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency.
- Acting as the escalation point for complex student enquiries and enrolment matters.
- Monitoring application pipelines and identifying opportunities to improve conversion and turnaround times.
- Developing and maintaining procedures, work instructions and training resources.
- Supporting compliance, data integrity and regulatory requirements.
- Working collaboratively with academic, marketing and operational teams to continually improve the student experience.
- Supporting student events such as orientations, open days and recruitment activities.
About you
You're an experienced leader who enjoys developing people and improving processes. You thrive in fast-paced environments, can manage competing priorities, and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
You'll also bring:
- Demonstrated leadership experience leading customer service, admissions, enrolment or administrative teams.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and changing workloads.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset with experience reviewing and enhancing operational processes.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality, compliance and data integrity.
- Experience interpreting policies, procedures and business rules.
- The ability to analyse performance, solve problems and make sound operational decisions.
Qualifications
You'll ideally have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Education, Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Previous experience in an RTO environment.
