What You'll Be Doing

With the guidance and support of qualified technicians, you'll learn how to:

Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection and safety systems.
Service portable fire equipment and other life safety systems.
Work with:

Fire panels
Fire alarm systems
Emergency Warning & Intercommunication Systems (EWIS)
Emergency and exit lighting
Fire extinguishers
Hydrants and hose reels
Fire doors

Accurately complete maintenance records, logbooks, and compliance documentation.
Develop skills in route planning, time management, stock control, and customer service.
Complete all training modules and assessments required as part of your traineeship.
Certifcate II in Fire Protection Inspection & Testing
Attend training sessions delivered through the Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

About You

We're looking for motivated, reliable, and safety-focused individuals who:

Are committed to completing a Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing.
Can follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
Demonstrate initiative and basic problem-solving skills.
Enjoy hands-on work and learning new technical skills.

Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and a desire to succeed.
