Daher’s Industry Division site in Stuart, Florida is a key U.S. manufacturing facility specializing in the assembly of complex metallic and composite aerostructures for major commercial and defense aircraft programs. The site produces large, critical aircraft structures—including wings, fuselage sections, and structural assemblies—for leading aerospace customers such as Boeing and Gulfstream, combining advanced manufacturing, industrialization, and quality‑driven production processes. As part of Daher’s global Industry Division, the Stuart operation emphasizes safety, precision, and continuous improvement while supporting high‑rate aerospace production and investing in workforce development, technology, and long‑term growth in the North American aerospace market.

Daher Aerospace in Stuart is seeking a NWIPT Manager to join our team.

Primary Role and Responsibilities

To act as a line management expert coordinating and supervising the work of an aircraft production group, and as a functional expert for production support skills. To ensure the successful outcome of aircraft production operations, and deliver customer satisfaction in terms of quality and lead time, at the same time as hitting financial performance targets.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day:

  • Participate in defining needs in terms of his/her production group's resources, skills, qualifications and methods
  • Ensure implementation of the necessary resources to achieve the objectives
  • Ensure compliance of his/her production group’s resources
  • Organize his/her team(s) according to the activity (adjust the workforce to the workload)
  • Manage, lead his/her teams and/or the production group
  • Ensure the successful induction and training of new entrants within his/her scope
  • Plan aircraft operations
  • Manage unforeseen circumstances in real time and decide on actions to be taken for proper implementation of planning
  • Support the team and give instructions
  • Perform regular visual checks and checks on progress of the team’s work
  • Ensure implementation and application of quality, safety, environment, security and labor code rules.
  • Contribute to human resources management actions (recruitment, training, annual appraisal, development of high-potential employees, management of qualifications according to the sites)
  • Establish versatility within the team and bring it to life
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the service (participation in the Steering Committee, customer meetings, operational meetings, etc.)
  • Carry out all actions aimed at operational excellence (SR, QSE walk, monitoring, etc.)
  • Participate in continuous improvement actions
  • Be the first link in the customer relationship (first operational interface)
  • Exchange with all stakeholders (customers, partners, suppliers, etc.)
  • Escalate any anomaly, productivity gap, technical problems, etc. to his/her line management.
  • Update dashboards
  • Report on the activity and results within his/her scope.
  • Lead and manage a team, ensuring that his/her employees develop their skills according to changing roles and organizational needs
  • Activities need to be adapted for employees on work-study placements (professionalization contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to be in line with their training.
  • Take into account and process QSE alerts reported by staff
  • Ensure that his/her team has the necessary skills to occupy their positions (QSE training, authorizations, etc.)
  • Support the rise in QSE maturity within his/her sector

What you need to have

  • 3 + years’ experience

Information related to the position

  • The compensation range is $150,000 to $170,000.

  • The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
