Your New Role
The Sales Analyst is a newly created role and will provide accurate and timely sales data analysis, reporting, and insights to support Development Victoria’s project sales performance. The Sales Analyst is responsible for consolidating and interpreting sales data across multiple projects, preparing regular reports, supporting forecasting and pricing analysis, and identifying trends and opportunities to improve revenue outcomes.
You’ll be working in a small but busy Sales & Marketing team whose focus is on the current and upcoming Housing developments.
This is an ongoing opportunity working on a hybrid basis. There will be core anchor days for team collaboration (2-3 days per week) and the ability to work from home on other days – we work flexibly at Development Victoria.

Core Accountabilities
- Prepare, maintain and distribute regular sales performance reports, dashboards, and forecasts.
- Consolidate and analyse sales data across all projects to provide insights on trends, risks and opportunities.
- Support the Sales Manager in monitoring project sales performance against targets and budgets.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of sales data across internal systems and external agency reports.
- Maintain and enhance reporting tools and templates to improve efficiency and usability.
- Support the development of pricing models, revenue projections and scenario testing.
- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, reports and briefings for management and project teams.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Development and Finance teams to align reporting outputs with business requirements.
About You
Desired Skills and Experience
You’re someone with a tertiary qualification in Business, Economics, Property, Commerce or a related discipline, an essential requirement for this role. You’ve taken the leap to further your understanding of data analysis, business intelligence or analytics tools and have the training or certification to show for it. You’ve got 2-5 years’ experience in a sales analysis, business analysis or property market research role and enjoy getting into all things data to provide insights and assist teams to make informed decisions.
Ideally, you also have experience with CRM systems and reporting platforms such as Salesforce, Runway, Power BI, Tableau and Excel).
