Senior Estimator

Resourceful Recruitment

We are partnering with a privately owned engineering and construction business that delivers specialised industrial infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand. With a strong pipeline of maintenance, refurbishment and capital works projects, they are seeking a Senior Estimator to play a key role in coordinating tenders, developing cost estimates and supporting the continued growth of the business.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will work closely with engineering, operations and project delivery teams to prepare competitive and commercially sound tenders across a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from maintenance works through to multi-million-dollar capital upgrades.

This role offers far more than traditional estimating. You will become a key part of the bid process, coordinating tender submissions, reviewing specifications and drawings, engaging with suppliers and subcontractors, and helping shape how projects are delivered from concept through to execution.

As the business continues to grow, there is a genuine pathway into a Bid Manager or Estimating Manager position.

About You

You will be a commercially minded estimator who understands how projects are delivered from planning through to construction. Experience within civil, industrial, infrastructure, maintenance, resources, energy or utilities environments will be highly regarded.

You will bring:

  • Estimating and tender coordination experience
  • Strong Excel and cost analysis capability
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and complete take-offs
  • Commercial acumen with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach

What's On Offer

  • Opportunity to join a growing, privately owned business with a strong reputation in its niche market
  • Clear career progression into Bid Manager or Estimating Manager pathways
  • Exposure to a diverse portfolio of maintenance, refurbishment and capital projects across Australia and New Zealand
  • Supportive, family-oriented culture where everyone contributes to project success
  • Direct access to experienced leaders who are invested in your development
  • Flexible working arrangements available once established in the role
  • Long-term opportunity to help shape estimating processes, systems and future team growth

If you're looking to join a growing business where your contribution will be valued and your career can develop alongside the organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
