The Opportunity

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our Rydalmere Manufacturing Facility and drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and operational excellence across our operations.

Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, you will measure, track and optimise manufacturing processes indicators, lead improvement initiatives, solve complex production challenges and deliver capital projects that improve safety, quality, productivity and cost performance.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys problem solving, stakeholder engagement and making a visible impact in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement and productivity initiatives.
  • Analyse production data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing tools, including RCA, PFMEA and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Support manufacturing, maintenance, quality and safety improvements.
  • Deliver engineering and capital projects from concept through to implementation.
  • Support New Product Development and Design for Manufacture activities.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and standards.
  • Collaborate across Production, Quality, Maintenance, WHS and R&D teams.

About You

You are a proactive and solutions-focused engineer with experience in manufacturing, production or industrial operations.

You will bring:

  • Engineering qualification or equivalent manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis skills.
  • Experience delivering process improvement or capital projects.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project management capability.
  • Commitment to safety, quality and operational performance.

Advantageous Experience

  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement certification.
  • Experience with automation, NPD or manufacturing technology implementation.
  • Exposure to contractor management and capital projects.
  • Experience in fabrication, welding or sheet metal manufacturing.
