About the Team

Our Workrooms are one of the many core support functions that keep our offices running smoothly and support our Lawyers to deliver quality legal advice. The Workroom is responsible for all of the day-to-day operational aspects of Johnson Winter & Slattery including but not limited to: document production; court filing and deliveries; meeting room set-up and pack-down; mail and courier deliveries, office relocations; and many other business critical tasks.

About the Role

An opportunity exists for a Workroom Supervisor to join our Melbourne office on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Melbourne Office Manager, this role will supervise the workroom team and act as the key point of contact for internal and external users. Successful candidates will be available to work on a full-time basis between Monday – Friday. Your responsibilities will vary, and no day will look the same. You will join an energetic team that prides itself on delivering a professional and seamless service to the Melbourne office.

About You

You have a diligent and dedicated approach to completing tasks accurately and in a timely manner, but there is much more to you. You:

  • have previous office services experience;
  • have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally;
  • take a collaborative and positive approach to everything you do;
  • have a ‘can-do’ and positive attitude and see the value in taking on any task that comes your way;
  • have basic knowledge of Microsoft office suite;
  • have a strong ability to prioritise and multitask;
  • work with minimal supervision;
  • have the ability to manage and guide Workroom clerks;
  • are reliable and punctual;
  • produce accurate work in a timely manner; and
  • are flexible and willing to do occasional overtime.
