Graduate Speech Pathologist Program

As a Graduate Speech Pathologist, you'll work alongside experienced clinicians who will guide you through every stage of your professional journey.

Your caseload is designed around your experience and confidence, allowing you to gradually develop your clinical skills while receiving ongoing mentoring and supervision.

Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Speech Pathologist, you will:

• Assess communication and swallowing disorders
• Develop evidence-based therapy plans
• Deliver speech pathology intervention for children and adults
• Prescribe and implement AAC and communication devices
• Complete dysphagia and swallowing assessments
• Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners and Exercise Physiologists
• Liaise with GPs, families, schools, support coordinators and carers
• Deliver therapy in both clinic and community settings
• Participate in ongoing supervision and professional development

You'll bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech Pathology (completed or graduating in 2026)
• Eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership
• Passion for working with children and adults
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Desire to build a long-term career in allied health
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Current Driver Licence (or ability to obtain)
• Access to a reliable vehicle
