About the company

Specialty chemical business servicing customers across Australia and New Zealand. Markets include textile, leather, wool, carpets and wood panel additives also offering a range of dyes, pigments and coating applications.

We are looking for a skilled forklift driver with solid experience in a warehouse or transport environment. Aisle master forklift experience is highly regarded as is High-Reach. This is not a role for a beginner, must be above average operator.

Please note that this role will start on a 3 month probation period going full-time on successful completion.

Key responsibilities

• Operating articulated aisle master forklift
• Moving stock to and from racking and to incoming/outgoing trucks as needed
• De-canting, Shrink-wrapping stock on pallets as needed
• RF Scanning
• Picking stock from consignment notes

Requirements

Key requirements

• Must have a proven solid history operating a forklift in either a warehouse or transport industry - Aisle master or high reach highly regarded
• This isn't just a forklift role, so you must be able to pick stock manually, scan and wrap products as needed
• OH&S compliant at all times - You are dealing with tight spaces and containers of chemicals/powders
• Must be a good communicator with a high attention to detail
• Reliable and looking for something long term
