Due to the expansion of robotic milking and associated barn equipment installations, we are seeking a full-time dedicated Technical Support Specialist to support with the growing interest in dairy automation.

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be a key member of Lely Australia’s support team, providing advanced technical expertise to our Lely Center network and dairy farming customers across Australia and New Zealand. You will support the performance of Lely’s cutting-edge automation systems, especially the Lely Astronaut milking robot, ensuring reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement.

This role is an excellent progression opportunity for an experienced dairy technician who is ready to move into a more specialised, high-impact support role with broader exposure and responsibility.

• Technical troubleshooting and diagnostic ability - both in the field and remotely.
• Excellent communication skills - able to support, coach, and guide Lely Center technicians.
• Flexibility for participation in an on-call support roster
• Willingness to travel - for on-site support and training (state, interstate, and international).

• Hands-on experience as a dairy technician - ideally in robotic milking, conventional milking systems, or anything farm related.
• Strong understanding of dairy farms - cow routines, and the needs of farmers.
• Technical troubleshooting and diagnostic ability - both in the field and remotely.
• Excellent communication skills - able to support, coach, and guide Lely Center technicians.
• Flexibility for participation in an on-call support roster
• Willingness to travel - for on-site support and training (state, interstate, and international).
