About the role
As Partner Activations Lead, you will play a critical role in bringing partner experiences to life at the Australian Open. You will lead the planning, delivery and operational execution of partner activations, ensuring they align with contractual commitments, operational requirements and the overall Australian Open vision.
In this role, you will:
Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of Australian Open partner activations, from concept development through to onsite execution and bump-out. Including but not limited to; Experiential Activations, Beverage Partner Bars, Retail Stores and Hospitality Suites
Manage agencies, contractors and suppliers to ensure activations are delivered safely, on time and to operational standard
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders - Marketing Partnerships, Precinct Design, Site Delivery and Precinct Operations teams to ensure Partner Activations meet all operational, compliance and creative requirements
Primary liaison between AO Contracted Caterer’s planning and operational teams to ensure effective set up and delivery of corporate hospitality suites and high-operating partner bars
Champion our Circular Design principles and drive continuous improvement, innovation and sustainable practices across partner activations
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated experience delivering major events, brand activations or complex operational projects from planning through to execution
Proven strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines and stakeholders simultaneously
Ability to build effective relationships and confidently collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, agencies and external partners
An understanding of event operations, site logistics, contractor management and compliance requirements. Ideal if you can interpret build drawings
A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
