Document Controller - Perth

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to support project and organisational document management activities within a fast paced, collaborative environment. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely control of all project documentation.

Please note that this is a full time, parental leave cover role for 12-14 months

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain project document control systems, registers, and procedures to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant document management.
  • Coordinate the distribution, tracking, filing, archiving, and retrieval of project documents, drawings, and records.
  • Ensure document revisions, approvals, transmittals, and project records are accurately controlled and maintained.
  • Administer document management systems and provide support, guidance, and training to project teams, vendors, and consultants.
  • Monitor document workflows, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing document control processes, quality systems, and team efficiencies.
  • Provide document control support across projects and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective project communication and information management.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Document Controller role, ideally within engineering, construction or project‑based environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical and organised approach to work.
  • Confident using document management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
