About The Role

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for scientists who want to apply their expertise beyond the bench. No prior AI experience needed — just deep domain knowledge and a sharp scientific mind.

What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related fields to design complex, rigorous problem statements
- Evaluate AI-generated biological reasoning for scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to enhance how AI models reason through biological concepts
- Ensure every deliverable meets high standards of scientific rigor and precision
Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field — Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, or equivalent
- Deep expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
- Comfortable working with Python or R in a research or analytical context
- Exceptional written communicator — you can explain complex science with clarity and precision
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable when working independently
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation systems
- Background in computational biology, systems biology, or adjacent quantitative fields
- Experience designing research problems, exam questions, or educational content at the graduate level
- Familiarity with AI tools or large language model workflows
