What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and solve advanced, multi-disciplinary problems across your domain of expertise — the kind of problems that genuinely challenge state-of-the-art AI
  • Apply your research background to craft complex problem statements that stress-test and improve AI reasoning capabilities
  • Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs for academic rigor, logical soundness, and technical accuracy
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to elevate model performance
  • Ensure the highest standards of clarity, depth, and intellectual integrity across all deliverables

Who You Are

  • Hold a Master's or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field
  • Have a strong track record in research, publications, or complex technical project work
  • Exceptionally clear written communicator — you can make hard ideas accessible without sacrificing precision
  • Self-directed and reliable when working independently and asynchronously
  • Genuinely excited by the idea of applying your expertise to one of the most consequential technologies of our time

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or AI quality workflows
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or other research-oriented programming languages
  • Background spanning multiple technical disciplines — cross-domain thinkers thrive here
  • Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts as a researcher or practitioner
