Your new role
We are seeking 2 Senior SAS Administrator Infrastructure Engineers to provide technical administration and ongoing support for enterprise SAS platforms, including SAS VEA and SAS Viya.
You will be responsible for maintaining infrastructure performance, resolving incidents, planning and implementing upgrades and patching activities, and ensuring compliance with security and operational requirements. Working closely with technical teams and stakeholders, you will contribute to system design, automation, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting critical data and analytics services.
This role is ideal for experienced infrastructure professionals with strong SAS platform expertise and a passion for delivering reliable and secure enterprise solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience administering and supporting SAS platforms, including SAS Viya and SAS VEA
- Strong infrastructure engineering and systems administration experience
- Experience with incident, problem, availability, and capacity management
- Knowledge of infrastructure maintenance, patching, upgrades, and disaster recovery planning
- Experience with scripting, automation, and systems design
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and operational procedures
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (highly desirable)
- NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory)
