Tech Lead – Full Stack Development (Immediate Start – Good Rates)

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead – Full Stack to lead the design and delivery of modern, cloud-based solutions within the Wealth and Financial Services domain. This role is central to maintaining high engineering standards as we execute on a clearly defined cloud strategy, supporting client, adviser, and operational wealth platforms.

You will lead and mentor a team of Full Stack Engineers while remaining hands-on across backend and frontend development, delivering secure, scalable, and compliant financial applications in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across end-to-end full stack engineering for wealth and financial services platforms.
• Design, build, and oversee backend services and APIs supporting wealth products, client data, transactions, reporting, and integrations.
• Lead development and integration of Salesforce-based solutions, including custom development, platform extensions, and enterprise integrations.
• Design and implement integration layers, including API Integration / WebMethods, messaging platforms, and API gateways.
• Guide the implementation and integration of Appian and other low-code platforms within broader enterprise architectures.
• Lead development of frontend applications using React, Angular, or Vue, ensuring usability, accessibility, and performance for wealth clients and advisers.
• Ensure consistent application of microservices architecture, SOLID principles, and clean engineering design.
• Drive TDD, automated testing, and quality engineering to ensure accuracy of financial logic and workflows.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, data integrity, performance, and resilience requirements.
• Oversee cloud-native solution delivery on AWS, including containerisation, managed services, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Lead engineering delivery within Agile environments, including PI Planning and cross-team dependency management.
• Champion CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation with appropriate governance.
• Drive data, analytics, and reporting enablement in support of wealth business insights.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for the offshore development team, providing clear design direction, reviewing deliverables for quality and alignment with standards, and ensuring smooth collaboration across time zones.
• Promote innovation and design thinking while maintaining enterprise-grade robustness

Experience And Skills Required

• 8–15 years of professional software engineering experience, including senior or lead roles.
• Strong experience delivering full stack solutions within Wealth or Financial Services.
• Hands-on capability across backend and frontend technologies, including:
• Backend: Java / Spring Boot, .NET Core, Node.js, Python
• Frontend: React, Angular, Vue; HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / TypeScript
• Mandatory hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Working knowledge and practical experience across the following domains:
• Salesforce
• API Integration / WebMethods
• Appian or other low-code platforms
• Web and Mobile Application development
• Security (authentication, authorisation, encryption)
• Databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Data & Analytics (ETL, reporting, analytics platforms)
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and secure API design.
• Solid application of SOLID principles, clean architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Strong experience with TDD and comprehensive automated testing.
• Strong experience with Agile delivery, PI Planning, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps.
• Experience working with onshore/offshore teams.
