As our HSE Coordinator, you’ll work across Victoria and Tasmania, partnering with major hazard facilities and operational teams to deliver safe, compliant, and high-performing workplaces. You’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact—helping protect communities while shaping safety outcomes in a critical industrial environment.

What You Will Enjoy Doing

• Support safety performance across Major Hazard Facilities (MHF)
• Monitor and review critical safety controls
• Conduct risk assessments and support hazard identification activities
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Safety Cases
• Partner with site teams to embed safe work practices
• Support MHF audits and regulatory interactions
• Ensure compliance with legislation, permits, and approvals
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HSE systems and processes

What Makes You Great

• At least 3 years’ experience in HSE, ideally within chemical, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar environments
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in science, engineering, or a related discipline (preferred), with formal HSE qualification or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of risk management, safety systems, and regulatory compliance
• Experience in incident investigation methodologies (e.g. ICAM, MORT, Causal Tree) desirable
• Audit experience, with Lead Auditor certification (ISO9001 and/or HSE) desirable
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence operational teams
• Willingness to travel across Victoria and Tasmania and an understanding of the legislative requirements
