People and Culture Specialist
Contract | $57 per hour + Super | Hobart
Osborne Richardson is partnering with a well-established local government organisation based in Hobart to find an experienced People and Culture Specialist to join their Recruitment team on a full-time contract basis, with potential for extension.

Currently undertaking an ambitious organisation-wide transformation program, the People and Culture Unit plays a key role in attracting, developing, engaging and retaining top talent while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. About the role
Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will deliver agile, professional people-centred services that support the organisation's strategic direction, providing a seamless and engaging end-to-end talent acquisition experience.
Key responsibilities include
- Delivering high-volume end-to-end talent acquisition activities, programs and projects, aligning people and organisational goals
- Implementing Employee Value Proposition strategies and identifying/attracting talent in a highly competitive market via various marketing campaigns and channels
- Providing specialist advice on the interpretation of Acts, Regulations, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements
- Coaching and mentoring employees across the organisation to uplift talent management capability
- Building deep stakeholder relationships and providing expert advice to leaders across the business
- Managing multiple simultaneous priorities in a fast-paced, complex environment
Key selection criteria
- Experience as a human resource practitioner within a complex organisation, with sound understanding of contemporary people-centric practices
- Demonstrated experience in high-volume end-to-end talent acquisition
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
