  • Permanent position, opportunities like this are rare!
  • Help our people recover, return and thrive
  • Flexible and hybrid working designed by YOU to ensure you are there for the moments that matter most

At City of Newcastle (CN), our people are at the heart of everything we do. A permanent opportunity has become available for a compassionate and experienced Recovery & Care Coordinator to support injured employees through their recovery journey and help them achieve safe, sustainable return to work outcomes.

Here, your ideas and efforts directly shape the places where you and your community live, work, and play.

In this rewarding role, you will partner closely with employees, leaders, medical practitioners and treatment providers to deliver high-quality injury management and recovery support. You will provide expert advice, coordinate return to work plans, drive early intervention strategies and contribute to a culture where employee wellbeing is prioritised and every person feels genuinely cared for.

We are looking for someone with relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in a similar role or an allied health discipline, complemented by strong expertise in return to work and injury management. You will bring a collaborative and people-centred approach, balancing empathy with positive outcomes to support employees through their recovery journey. Your ability to build trusted relationships, navigate complex cases and effectively influence a diverse range of stakeholders will be key to your ongoing success.
