Baseline security clearance

As the ICT Configuration Manager, you will lead and enhance the CMDB capability, ensuring accurate and trusted configuration data to support service management, cyber security, compliance, and operational support. You will oversee CMDB governance, improve data quality and integrity, strengthen dependency mapping, support change and release management, and drive the integration of cloud services, automation, and emerging technologies into configuration management practices.

Who are we looking for

Must have

• Demonstrated experience leading CMDB and configuration management in complex ICT environments.
• Strong experience administering ServiceNow CMDB or a comparable ITSM platform.
• Proven ability to implement CMDB governance, data validation, reconciliation, reporting, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL and ITSM processes, including configuration, change, incident, problem, asset, and service transition management.
• Experience supporting change, release, incident, vulnerability, compliance, and asset management through accurate configuration data.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills.

Highly desirable

• Experience working in Australian Government ICT environments.
• Experience integrating cloud platforms, automation, infrastructure, network, or software asset information into CMDB processes.
• ITIL, ITSM, Configuration Management, Asset Management, or ServiceNow certifications or equivalent practical experience.
