RoofClimb is more than just a tour – it’s an unforgettable adventure, offering breathtaking 360° views from the rooftop of Adelaide Oval and creating memories that last a lifetime.

We're on the lookout for energetic, confident and people-focused individuals to join our team as RoofClimb Leaders!

In this unique role, you'll guide groups of up to 14 guests across the roofline of the iconic Adelaide Oval, sharing stories, delivering engaging commentary and ensuring every climber has a safe and memorable experience. No two days are the same here, and you'll have the opportunity to meet people from all around the world while working in one of Adelaide's most recognisable landmarks.

Successful applicants will undergo a full functional and medical assessment and will receive a fully paid on the job training program, including nationally recognised Working Safely at Heights certification.

What are we looking for?

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Has a positive, enthusiastic attitude
  • Loves working with people and creating great experiences
  • Is confident speaking to and leading groups
  • Has strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset

As Such, The Job Has Some Prerequisites

  • Current (or willing to obtain) a First Aid Certificate
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
  • Strong communication skills and ability to project your voice clearly
  • Availability across a 7 day roster, including weekdays

There Are Also Physical Restrictions And Demands Which Our RoofClimb Leaders (and All Our RoofClimbers) Must Adhere To For Safety And Involves

  • Minimum height – 120cm
  • Minimum weight – 45kg
  • Maximum weight – 136kg
  • Wearing a safety harness and carrying up to 9kg of equipment
  • Climbing stairs, ladders and walking along steel structures
  • Standing and moving for extended periods at heights up to 50m
