Our client, a leading Tier-1 engineering and construction contractor, is seeking an experienced

Senior Project Engineer / Project Coordinator to support the delivery of a marina-based project in Karratha.

We're looking for someone who has moved beyond being purely technically focused and wants to take ownership of project outcomes. This role would suit a Senior Project Engineer or Project Coordinator who is already operating with a high level of autonomy and is ready to bridge the gap between engineering and project management.

You'll be comfortable managing planning, commercials, subcontractors, stakeholder engagement and project delivery, while building the skills and experience required to progress into a full Project Manager role in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver project scopes from planning through to completion
• Manage project reporting, forecasting and cost control
• Support contract administration, variations and progress claims
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders
• Monitor project performance, risks and delivery outcomes
• Assist with planning, scheduling and commercial management activities

About You

• Experience as a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer or Project Coordinator
• Strong understanding of project delivery, project controls and commercial processes
• Experience with budgets, reporting, forecasting and subcontractor management
• Background in construction, infrastructure, marine, mining or industrial projects
• Able to work autonomously and take ownership of project outcomes
