Role: - Senior Associate Consultant (Technical Business Analyst)

Location: - Sydney 1 Year Full-Time Contract Role

Role Summary

The Technical Business Analyst (Integration Squad) provides specialist business analysis capability to support the increasing technical complexity of the Collections Transformation Program across Releases 10 and 11.

The role is responsible for translating complex integration, API, system interface, and cross-platform solution requirements into clear, actionable delivery artefacts that enable successful end-to-end implementation and operational readiness.

Working as an embedded member of the Integration Squad, the Technical BA partners closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, Delivery Leads, Test Teams, Platform Teams, and Business Stakeholders to ensure integration solutions are accurately defined, traceable, and delivered with minimal operational risk.

Key Responsibilities

Integration & Solution Analysis

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for system integrations and interface solutions.
  • Define and maintain interface specifications, API requirements, message formats, data mappings, and end-to-end process flows.
  • Perform impact assessments across multiple platforms and dependent applications.
  • Support identification and resolution of integration gaps, risks, dependencies, and production support considerations.

Requirements & Delivery

  • Translate requirements into Jira Epics, Features, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and supporting technical artefacts.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and delivery activities.
  • Ensure requirements remain traceable, testable, and aligned with business outcomes and solution objectives.
  • Work closely with development and testing teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Integration Engineers, Product Owners, Test Managers, and Vendor Teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, solution discussions, requirement walkthroughs, and design reviews.
  • Communicate delivery impacts, assumptions, risks, and dependencies effectively across stakeholders. Governance & Assurance
  • Contribute to solution governance, design reviews, change management processes, and release readiness activities.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, knowledge transfer artefacts, and delivery records.
  • Support audit, compliance, operational readiness, and production deployment activities.

Skills & Experience Essential

  • Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst supporting integration-heavy enterprise programs.
  • Proven experience analysing complex system integrations, APIs, interface specifications, and data flows.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, integration patterns, and enterprise delivery frameworks.
  • Experience creating process models, data mappings, business requirements, and technical documentation.
  • Advanced stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Strong experience working within Agile / SAFe delivery environments.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Visio/BPMN and related analysis tools.

Desirable

  • Experience within Financial Services and large-scale transformation programs.
  • Exposure to Collections, Customer Assist, Lending, Mortgage, or Equipment Finance domains.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, API frameworks, and event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of banking major technology landscape and enterprise integration practices.
