Our client is an established residential builder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality apartment, mixed-use and build-to-rent developments throughout NSW. Due to continued project wins and business growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join their commercial team.

Working on major residential projects, you will play a key role in ensuring strong commercial outcomes and supporting successful project delivery from procurement through to completion.

Your new role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager and Project Director, you will:

• Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering and scope negotiations.
• Prepare and administer subcontract agreements.
• Assess progress claims, variations and extension of time requests.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
• Manage head contract obligations and contractual compliance.
• Support monthly financial reporting and project forecasting.
• Work closely with site and project teams to maximise commercial performance.
• Assist in managing project risks and opportunities throughout the construction lifecycle.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a Senior Contract Administrator within residential construction.
• Proven exposure to apartment, mixed-use or large-scale residential developments.
• Strong understanding of procurement, cost management and contract administration.
• Experience administering projects under standard Australian construction contracts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
