Warehouse Supervisor

  • Lead Warehouse, Dispatch & Production Operations for a National Industry Leader
  • $80,000 pa + Super based on skills and experience
  • Permanent Full-Time Position - 7:00am Start - Located in Preston

About The Role

Based in Preston, this is a hands-on leadership position reporting directly to the Production Manager.

You will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the warehouse, dispatch and production teams, ensuring customer orders are manufactured, assembled and dispatched accurately and on time. You'll lead from the front, provide direction to the team, maintain high safety standards and ensure operational efficiency across the site.

This role would suit an experienced Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor, Dispatch Supervisor or Production Leading Hand who enjoys being on the floor, solving problems, supporting their team and driving outcomes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise warehouse, dispatch and production staff
  • Allocate labour and manage daily workflow priorities
  • Coordinate picking, packing, staging and dispatch activities
  • Support manufacturing and assembly operations
  • Read and interpret job sheets, plans and customer specifications
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Maintain stock accuracy and warehouse organisation
  • Coordinate freight bookings and dispatch requirements
  • Operate warehouse equipment and support production activities where required
  • Drive accountability, quality standards and team performance
  • Promote a safe, organised and efficient workplace
  • Liaise with Customer Service, Site Coordinators and the Production Manager to keep projects moving smoothly.

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or similar leadership role
  • Strong warehouse, manufacturing or production experience
  • Forklift Licence (Essential)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable using warehouse systems, ERP platforms and technology
  • Ability to read and interpret measurements, plans and production specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Experience with Simpro or similar ERP systems highly regarded
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
