We are looking for a Business Transformation Technology Lead to join Program Jupiter, a digital transformation journey that supports our vision to become Australia's leading regional-based health fund. The program is the biggest technology investment in our 90-year history. We are combining world-class technology with the expertise of our people to create remarkable member and customer experiences.

The role

This role is a key member of the program leadership team, responsible for translating GMHBA's business strategy into effective technology solutions. We are seeking a strategic thinker, with strong leadership capability who can manage multiple complex streams of work concurrently.

As a senior leader, the Business Transformation Technology Lead will collaborate closely with business leaders, technology teams, and external partners to deliver solutions that drive business value. You will play a pivotal role in delivering transformational change across GMHBA’s technology landscape.

  • Full time - 2-year fixed term contract
  • Based in our Geelong Head office (Hybrid work option available)
  • Leadership role with 5 direct reports

You will

  • Provide strategic leadership by contributing to business strategy, driving organisational objectives, and partnering across teams to deliver enterprise outcomes.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams, ensuring effective workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement, and future capability readiness.
  • Drive business and technology transformation by translating strategic goals into actionable technology solutions, championing change, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee end-to-end technology delivery, ensuring programs are aligned to enterprise architecture, IT strategy, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and business value objectives.
  • Advance technology capability and innovation through modern delivery practices, emerging technologies, effective resource management, and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Technology, Program Delivery, or a related discipline, with extensive experience leading large-scale technology change programs and delivery functions.
  • Proven capability in developing and executing strategic plans, translating business objectives into technology outcomes.
  • Strong expertise in technology delivery methodologies, enterprise architecture, and the development of architectural frameworks and artefacts.
  • Commercially astute with strong financial acumen and the ability to make informed, value-driven decisions in complex environments.
