To support our growth and keep our culture thriving, we are looking for a dynamic, proactive Learning & Leadership Manager to step into a pivotal role within our national team.

The Opportunity

This is a highly hands-on role where you will have overall functional accountability for designing, leading, and delivering learning and leadership initiatives across our entire national network.

This role would suit an experienced consultant or early career manager looking to take full ownership of a learning function.

The Opportunity

L&D Strategy & Leadership Development

  • Framework Design: Build and execute a holistic, business-wide learning framework that caters to every layer of BlueFit, from day-one casual onboarding to senior executive leadership.
  • Nurturing Future Leaders: Design and deliver high-impact leadership journeys, embed values-based practices, and lead our Pathways program to champion succession planning.
  • RTO Partnership: Collaborate closely with our Registered Training Organisation, Southern Education, to identify and build out new qualifications and strategic learning content.

Performance & Organisational Development

  • Framework Innovation: Lead the continuous improvement of our annual performance review and capability frameworks, mapping core competencies to clear career pathways.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyse performance data to spot capability gaps and feed those talent insights directly back into your learning strategy.

Culture, Engagement & DEI

  • Strengthen the Vibe: Lead our team engagement surveys to understand what's working on the ground, and collaborate with P&C and Communications to embed our core values into everything from onboarding to career progression

What You’ll Bring to the Deck

At BlueFit, we hire people who bring a hands-on grit to their work, foster a collaborative team spirit, build trusted relationships, and show up every single day to be innovative and inspiring leaders.

  • The Background: A tertiary qualification in HR, Organisational Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • The Experience: Demonstrated success as a senior consultant or early-career manager designing and delivering multi-site learning programs at scale across corporate, frontline, and leadership teams.
  • Tech & Data Savvy: Proven experience working with eLearning platforms/LMS ecosystems, with the ability to create multimedia content and use backend data to track engagement.
  • Human-Centric Approach: Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and strategic thinking skills, paired with the high emotional intelligence needed to build rapid trust with diverse teams.
  • Compliance Ready: A valid driver’s license, alongside standard compliance readiness or a willingness to maintain them (Valid Working with Children Check, Senior First Aid, and CPR— with regular training courses conveniently run right here via Southern Education!).
