About the Role

Securecorp is seeking an experienced Security Site Supervisor to lead security operations at a retail site in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position (8:00am – 5:00pm) offering a competitive flat-rate salary.

In this leadership role, you will oversee a small team of six Security Officers, ensuring the delivery of professional security services, exceptional customer service, and compliance with site procedures. You will act as the key liaison between the client, site stakeholders, and your security team, driving operational excellence and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all visitors, tenants, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support a team of six Security Officers
• Manage daily security operations, staffing requirements and roster coverage
• Ensure compliance with site procedures, security protocols and company standards
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and patrols
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and escalations in a professional manner
• Investigate incidents and prepare accurate reports and documentation
• Maintain strong relationships with the client and key site stakeholders
• Provide coaching, mentoring and performance support to security personnel
• Identify risks and implement proactive security solutions
• Promote a positive safety culture across the site

Skills & Experience

• Current Security Licence with Crowd Control endorsement (essential)
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (essential)
• Previous experience in a Security Supervisor, Team Leader or Senior Security Officer position
• Retail, commercial or customer-facing security experience preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
• Strong conflict resolution and incident management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer literacy and reporting experience
• Professional presentation and customer-focused approach
• Ability to work independently while effectively leading a team
