Effectively manage the Payroll and Partner Services functions of the Corrs Group including responsibility for the accurate and timely processing of salary payments to employees and distributions to partners, and the payment and lodgement of documents with statutory bodies and superannuation funds in accordance with state and federal legislation. The role also requires the effective management of all other Payroll and Partner Services related duties and to drive process improvements to the payroll and Partner Services functions.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the accurate and compliant delivery of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll processing across the Corrs Group, ensuring all employee payments, deductions and entitlements are administered correctly
- Oversee payroll compliance activities including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, workers' compensation, novated leasing and statutory reporting obligations.
- Manage payroll reporting, reconciliations, month-end processes, payroll journals, leave liability reporting and year-end payroll requirements.
- Lead the Partner Services function, including partner profit allocations, distributions, capital and current account management, and partnership-related financial reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across payroll and partner services, including process optimisation, system enhancements, controls and documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Partners, Finance, HR and business leaders while leading, coaching and developing a high-performing payroll team.
Skills/Experience
- Extensive payroll management experience, ideally within a professional services, legal or complex corporate environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, employee entitlements and relevant state-based requirements.
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing payroll teams while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and a focus on accuracy, compliance and risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, together with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using payroll and HRIS platforms.
