Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator / Data Analyst to provide database administration and data management support across key systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data integrity, system availability, and successful data integration across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain databases across both legacy and modern environments (SQL Server 2014 & 2019)
- Monitor data integration processes and resolve failures using SQL transactional replication
- Ensure data structure integrity and maintain high data quality standards across applications
- Perform routine database backups and ensure system availability
- Execute scripts and perform data exports to support audits and compliance activities
- Assist with data profiling, analysis, and remediation under guidance from senior stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration (2014/2019)
- Strong proficiency in SQL scripting for reporting and data analysis
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS
- Understanding of incident and problem management within secure or multi-vendor environments
Mandatory Requirements
- Active AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Melbourne (Laverton or Ballarat)
