Exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven Work Health and Safety Coordinator to join our growing WA team.
About the role
Reporting to the WHS Manager, you’ll partner with management teams to foster a strong, proactive, safety-first culture. This diverse and exciting opportunity offers you the chance to travel to our aged care facilities across the Perth metro region and make a meaningful difference in the Aged Care sector. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and embed Donesafe
- Manage hazards, incidents, risk assessments, audits and training
- Develop and review SWMS, SOPs and WHS documentation
- Provide safety advice, support HSRs and promote WHS & wellbeing initiatives
- Prepare and present safety performance reports
What you'll bring
- Qualifications in WHS (minimum of a Cert IV in WHS)
- Proven experience in a front facing WHS role, preferably in the Health, Aged Care or Disability sector
- Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and willingness to work across different facilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident in engaging, influencing and working with teams at all levels
- Experience conducting WHS Inspections and Audits
- Workers Compensation experience is ideal but not essential
- National Police Clearance (within past 6 months), NDIS Workers Screening Check, 2026 influenza vaccination, and full working rights in Australia
