Our client is a well-established business operating within the healthcare and allied services sector, currently experiencing continued growth and seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

Working alongside a supportive finance team, you'll be responsible for managing a broad range of bookkeeping duties while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Process end-to-end payroll in a timely and compliant manner
  • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly BAS return
  • Produce monthly management reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Prepare and post journals within the accounting system
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and registers
  • Support payroll compliance reviews and audit activities

About You

  • Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience within a public practice environment
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships
  • Proactive and solutions-driven approach to problem solving
  • Sound understanding of payroll processes and legislation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
