Established in 2018, Arrowsmith Assets Group Pty has achieved significant growth since inception and is looking to expand its Rent-to-Purchase business in the civil construction, mining and transport segments.
We provide Rent-to-Purchase solutions for clients needing equipment to fulfill current or new projects/contracts. We tailor Rent-to-Purchase offerings to help our clients facilitate growth, service new additional work, or top up on existing balance sheet capability. We mainly specialise in the construction, earthmoving and mining markets and the main asset categories we are involved in include excavators, wheel loaders, motor graders, dozers, Dump Trucks (usually up to 100t), crushing equipment, rollers, scrapers, prime movers, trailers and other auxiliary equipment. We can also assist in sourcing equipment via our industry contacts.
About the role
- This is a full time, hybrid position based in Applecross, Perth, WA.
- Competitive salary plus uncapped commission/bonus structure.
Position Objectives
- Ideally you will reside in Perth, WA. You will have worked in mining service business development or asset finance either directly in the industry or as an asset finance specialist dealing with clients in this industry. You will have established connections relating to mobile plant including dry and wet hire, construction and mining services contracting.
- The role’s core focus is identifying new business opportunities, whilst managing a portfolio of clients. You will be a natural communicator with outstanding networking capabilities to establish and maintain strong and meaningful relationships with clients.
- Grow new business by developing relationships with new customers, new vendors and other sources of business.
- Manage existing customer accounts to ensure continued business and maintenance of financial performance of these customers.
- Achieve performance targets for budgeted sales volumes.
- Work closely with Arrowsmith Directors and management to drive market share.
- Ensure compliance and process is followed in the growing of the business including asset security, documentation process and maintenance of records.
- Assist with the development of new employees of Arrowsmith where appropriate.
- Represent Arrowsmith at networking events and trade shows, customer initiatives and conferences.
- Participate in the national marketing development of the Arrowsmith Asset brand and products.
Personal Attributes
- High level of communication skills, verbal and written, and personal integrity.
- Well organised, efficient, self-motivated, and capable of performing in an autonomous workplace. Strong knowledge of equipment and market participants.
- Acute understanding between the fundamentals of rental and purchase differentials.
- A commitment to high levels of quality in work outputs and processes.
- Confidence to meet new people and present effectively, with enthusiasm.
- Desire to find solutions where challenges exist.
- An understanding of business financial statements and finance is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience in the construction/hire/mining services industry or an asset finance background dealing in these industries, and an established network is highly desirable.
