The Role
In this pivotal role, you’ll be the go-to support for a busy and creative on-air radio team. Your day-to-day will be varied and fast-paced, with tasks like developing and maintaining staff rosters, preparing contributor agreements and staff engagements, pulling together reports and briefings, sharing updates with the team, and offering the occasional bit of on-the-spot training. You’ll also lend a hand with bookings and budgets for content projects, live events and outside broadcasts.
On the finance side, you’ll keep an eye on budgets, track performance, manage forecasting, and take care of monthly journals and accruals.
Please note: this role will initially be offered on a part-time basis (18 hours per week) from July to December 2026, before transitioning to full-time from January 2027. Applicants must be available and willing to move to full-time hours from January 2027, as this is a firm requirement of the position.

About You
We’re looking for someone who’s a natural communicator, a great team player and comfortable building positive working relationships.
You’ll need strong organisational skills, be able to juggle priorities, and hit deadlines without breaking a sweat. You’ll have solid experience providing both admin and finance support, be confident with Microsoft Office, have a background in rostering or logistics, and ideally have some know-how with a payroll system and SAP Finance. Most importantly, you’ll be quick to pick things up and be comfortable working with both a remote and face to face team.
