Tutor Sonographer
Radiology Tasmania
- 12 month Fixed-Term Contract
- Travel and Accommodation provided
- Open to Sonographers with ~3+ years of experience
About The Role
We are currently looking for a Tutor Sonographer to join our team and help lead our Sonographer development program across Tasmania. Based in Hobart, the role will play a key part in Radiology Tasmania's vision to become the diagnostic medical imaging specialists of choice across the state.
This position will be a 12month fixed-term contrac t, with return travel and accommodation provided for the length of the stay. The role is perfect for a Sonographer looking for the opportunity to live and explore Tasmania whilst training the next generation of Sonographers in Hobart.
We also have a permanent Tutor Sonographer position open for someone who be looking at transitioning into a senior role.
The position will provide a unique opportunity to shape and develop the next generation of sonographers, working with the current ultrasound leadership team to develop an inviting teaching environment with high standards.
We are open to taking a Sonographer with ~3+ years of experience who may be looking at taking the next step in their career.
Well developed teaching skills and leadership will be required in the mentoring of students from initial to final stages of scanning. The position will involve limited scanning with a predominantly supervisory role over multiple students.
With multiple students to oversee this supervising role does not have their own clinical line to manage. The position has the ability to be a hybrid position of both supervisory and scanning if interested.
