The Role
As Marketing Assistant, you’ll help drive the growth and consistency of the FISHBOWL brand as we expand across Australia. You’ll play a key role in coordinating and supporting the rollout of marketing initiatives – ensuring every touchpoint reflects our brand with care, clarity, and consistency.
You’ll Have
- 2+ years of experience in marketing coordination or campaign support, preferably in food and beverage (F&B) or tech-enabled consumer brands
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills, plus ability to draft copy and prepare presentations
- Basic understanding of marketing channels, including social, digital, in-store, and influencer/PR
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to report on campaign performance (Excel/Google Sheets proficiency required)
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through; thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Familiarity with design or digital tools (e.g. Canva, Figma, Mailchimp/Klaviyo, or similar) a plus
- Characteristics reflective of FISHBOWL’s ethos: self-motivated, positivity, service-oriented, flexible, and ethical with a high degree of integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the CMO, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing the FISHBOWL brand to life as we grow across Australia. From coordinating brand and product campaigns to supporting in-store activations, you’ll help ensure every touchpoint reflects our identity with consistency and impact. This role is fast-paced, detail-oriented, and perfect for someone who’s eager to gain broad marketing experience across a growing, high-energy brand.
You’ll Be Expected To
- Support planning and execution of integrated brand and product campaigns across all touchpoints (in-store signage, social media, email, PR, and influencer campaigns), ensuring timely delivery of assets and activations.
- Get involved in brand activations, new restaurant openings, and events — including travel and on-the-ground work when needed. This is the part of the job that takes you off the laptop and into the world, and it’s one of the best bits
- Create content that people actually want to engage with — storytelling, humour, behind-the-scenes, product love, cultural moments. You’re comfortable picking up a camera (or a phone) and making things — short-form video, Reels, Stories, the kind of content that feels native to the platform and true to the brand
- Help shape FISHBOWL’s voice and presence across all social platforms — Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and wherever our community lives next
- Build and nurture relationships with influencers & creators, collaborators, and partners who feel genuinely aligned with the FISHBOWL world
- Monitor campaign KPIs, compile reports on ROI, and share learnings on optimising results.
- Act as a point of contact to ensure smooth coordination between Marketing, Creative, Digital, Operations, and external partners
- Assist in managing brand guidelines and ensuring assets and messaging are applied consistently across all channels and markets
- Track invoices, process purchase orders, and assist with budget reconciliation for brand campaigns and activations
- Own project management tools, timelines, and status reports to keep campaigns moving and ensure deadlines are met.
