This role is a part of our Connected Communities Department; a highly collaborative team working in an agile and fast-paced environment underpinned by our organisational values and a service driven approach.
The role
As the Maternal Child Health and Immunisation Administration Officer, you will provide professional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of Maternal Child Health and Immunisation services.
Working across a range of functions, you will coordinate appointments, respond to client enquiries, maintain accurate records and databases, support immunisation programs and assist with the day-to-day operational needs of the service. You will play a key role in ensuring families, children and community members receive timely access to services while supporting staff with efficient administrative processes.
This is a part-time position working 0.6 FTE (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) and may include occasional after-hours work in accordance with service requirements. Reporting to MCH and Immunisation Senior Administration Officer.
About you
You are a highly organised administration professional who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service and supporting a busy team environment. You bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues and community members from diverse backgrounds.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Relevant post-secondary qualifications or experience in administration support roles.
- Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service and managing enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to gain cooperation and provide support to a diverse range of clients, staff and stakeholders.
- Well-developed organisational, time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines.
- Experience applying policies, procedures and administrative processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy and confidence working across multiple systems and databases.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, demonstrating initiative, flexibility and a commitment to continuous improvement.
