Electrical Site Supervisor

THE OPPORTUNITY

PHE Mining is currently seeking a highly motivated Site Supervisor to join our Bathurst team on a permanent, full-time basis. We encourage candidates from across Orange, Bathurst, and surrounding areas, as well as those willing to relocate, to apply.

This is a local role, primarily Monday-Friday with excellent pay and consistent overtime.

In this role you will:

  • Undertake project-specific tasks as appropriate and directed to you by the Superintendent
  • Leading a team of Leading Hands and Electricians
  • Lead by example for all to uphold a high standard of safety on site
  • Report task status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope and quality, when required
  • Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology
  • Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities
  • Oversee our apprentices, and ensure they are consistently learning and improving their standard of work

ABOUT YOU

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Have a positive attitude and strong commitment to safety
  • Enjoy problem-solving
  • Previous experience in a Supervisory role
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 applications including Teams & Excel
  • Experience in the use and interpretation of Project Scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera)
  • Previous experience in job estimating and quoting
  • Quality Management experience
  • Budget management experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
  • NSW Electrical Licence
  • High-risk work Licence EWP
  • Working at Heights (Completed in the last 18 months)
  • Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
  • Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s Licence
  • White / Blue Construction Card
  • Hazardous Areas preferred but not essential
