We’re looking for a supportive and people-first Team Leader to lead our Lending Assessment team. In this role, you’ll guide a group of credit assessors, helping them deliver high-quality, timely lending decisions while creating a positive, collaborative team environment.

This is a hands-on team leader role where attitude matters most. You will bring a genuine passion for developing others, building capability, and creating a culture where people feel supported to do their best work.

You’ll also stay close to the detail, using your credit knowledge to support complex lending decisions, ensure strong risk and compliance practices, and maintain high standards across customer and broker interactions.

What You’ll Bring

• A supportive, approachable leadership style that builds trust and confidence
• Experience in credit assessment or home lending, with a solid understanding of credit decisioning
• The ability to coach and develop others to lift performance and capability
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to provide clear guidance and feedback
• A focus on quality, productivity, and customer outcomes
• Previous leadership experience is a bonus, but not essential if you bring the right mindset and skills
