Additional information:

  • These roles are Permanent Part-time, 50hrs/fortnight
  • Applications close Friday 24 July 2026
  • You must have the availability to for full weekend shifts (both Saturdays and Sundays) and Thursday and/or Friday nights until 9:30pm
  • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts.

Team vision (text) As Product Quality & Recovery Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
  • Present IKEA products in As-Is using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store.
  • Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging them back into a saleable condition.
  • Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality.
  • Support the quality work in the store to constantly improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products.
  • Always consider the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products.
  • Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that cultivates a strong understanding of product recovery, quality and compliance processes.
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment within the IKEA store, always ensuring the well-being of both customers and co-workers.
